The causes of chronic pain vary greatly. Chronic pain can occur due to injuries and trauma that begin as acute pain but last long after the wound and trauma heal. Chronic pain that occurs because of this is generally caused by pain receptor disorders in the brain that persist so that it continues to send pain signals without any stimulation of pain or real disorders. In addition, chronic pain can also occur without the presence of a visible cause. Pain such as knee pain in rheumatism, gastric pain, and head pain. Pain in the same area can be caused by different things. This is one of the factors that causes the difficulty of doing therapy for chronic pain.
